What do we do when the unthinkable happens? When it seems our world has turned upside down. When we don’t even have the words to say. We often feel this way during tragedies like earthquakes, gun violence, or scandals. Right now our city is rocked, and many of us don’t know what to do with our hurt, our confusion, our anger or our uncertainty. These are all things that are part of being in a broken world. Join us as we learn how we can work through and thrive in these painful times by learning ancient truths found in the book of Lamentations. Together we’ll see how embracing the pain provides the pathway to engaging aspects of God we did not know before. We will move from pain and pleas of mercy to praise and a deeper trust in His promises.
