We invite our incoming K-6th graders out for a morning of messy fun! Parents are welcome to stay if they want to help out with running the various games. Kids should wear old clothes: girls - wear a swimsuit underneath shirt and shorts; boys - wear swim trunks with a shirt. Kids will get hosed down at the end, so bring along a towel as well!
Please let Bethany Fisher (email@example.com) know if your child will be attending! You can RSVP on Facebook! Messy Olympics will be held at Megan Webster's house.
We will be having an Eat & Greet on June 25th immediately following the gathering. It's a great opportunity to meet with the church staff and some of our members; learn more about the church; and ask questions. It usually lasts a little less than an hour and lunch is provided. Please contact Jenny (firstname.lastname@example.org) by Wednesday June 21st if you're interested in attending.
For anyone interested in becoming a covenant member of City Alliance Church, we invite you to attend this class! The meeting will be following the Gathering on June 11th. Lunch is provided and childcare can be arranged if needed. Contact Jenny Moyer (email@example.com) to sign-up!
Our monthly potluck will be a fun outdoor picnic on May 7th at 4:00PM at James Short Park (2301 Northway Rd). The church will be providing pulled pork and dessert, but please sign-up to bring a dish to share! http://www.PerfectPotluck.com/meals.php?t=CELQ8415
Bring your favorite outdoor game!
We will be having our next Sent Sunday on April 30th. We'll gather in the sanctuary at 9:30 AM and be sent into the community at 10 AM. We will be partnering with Better Tomorrows, Firetree Place, West House, and Family Promise. Click here for more information and to register!
City Alliance will be hosting a live simulcast of Secret Church.
Secret Church is an intense 6-hour Bible study and prayer time that occurs once every year. The theme this year is "Scripture and Authority in an Age of Skepticism." The event will address questions such as: How did we get this holy book, who decided what would and wouldn't be included in it, how do we know it's true, is it necessary, and how can I understand it? These and other critical questions about the Bible will help to discern how scripture impacts the lives of Christians and the implications for our lives, families, and churches in the current culture.
