Prayer is the primary work of God's people.


We believe that prayer is the foundation for action, so we're constantly asking God to bring his kingdom to Williamsport as it is in Heaven. We want to be a people who believe in the power of prayer and learn to live by faith.

We have a team of people who are committed to praying for you. All prayer requests are kept confidential to the prayer team. 



On a regular basis, we are out into our community to serve and love our neighbors in a number of different ways.

Thrive International

One of our closest partners, Thrive equips people from diverse cultures with increased language proficiency and cultural competence as well as provides legal status assistance and opportunities to integrate with and serve the community.

Opportunities to serve:

  • Assist with ESL classes and/or practice English with English Language Learners (Mondays & Thursdays)
  • Volunteer in nursery or provide on-site childcare during ESL classes
  • Help prepare meals for monthly international takeout dinners

    Stevens Primary School

    Stevens Primary, part of the Williamsport Area School District, is serving K-3 students from our inner-city neighborhoods. We encourage involvement in all schools, but due to unique socioeconomic challenges, we offer practical support at Stevens

    Opportunities to serve:

    • CHEER Mentor assisting with homework, practicing literacy, and providing positive mentorship to students (Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30)
    • Walking School Bus, accompany young students to safely navigate a 1.5 mile walking route to school  (any weekday morning, 8am-9am)

    Family Promise

    Family Promise assists homeless families to regain their independence.

    Opportunities to serve:

    • Host Weeks: Prepare food, overnight hosts, drivers, hanging out with guests, etc.
    • Volunteering at Day Center
    • Renovations at Promise House

    Firetree Place

    Firetree Place is a neighboring youth development center serving children K-12.

    Opportunities to serve:

    • Volunteering for weekly programs
    • Helping with the Fresh Express food program (Fridays from 12:30-2:30)
