In Christ, we're saved by faith alone, but the faith that saves is never alone. In his letter to the Church, James urges Christians to have the kind of faith that works; he challenges their actions to match their convictions. As we study the text of James, we'll find that there is no Instagram filter for the Christian life, but that in the midst of the trials and brokenness, we're made more and more into the image of Christ. Through the wisdom of James, we'll learn the true character of Christian discipleship.
