We are joining with Christ to transform Williamsport with the Gospel for the glory of God and the good of the city.

City Alliance Church is a community of people in Williamsport, PA who love Jesus and love our city. We began when six families joined together around a love for Christ and a heart for our city. Launching with a small Bible study in Alabaster Coffee Roaster & Tea Company in 2012, our story is shaped by the Gospel as we learn what it means to grow in loving God and loving our neighbor.

We believe God calls his people to work for the good of the city we live in and that the Church exists to be a ministry of reconciliation.  Together, we are joining Christ in renewing Williamsport socially, culturally and spiritually.  Our sacred prayer is for God to build His kingdom in Williamsport as in Heaven.

Our local church is shaped by four distinct values found in the life and Gospel of Jesus Christ and modeled by the early Church.

We believe that Jesus is the hope of the world, and that through him, people will never be the same. We exist to see lives changed, culture redeemed & the city renewed by the Gospel.

2 Corinthians 5:17

There are no perfect people. We are all a mess apart from God’s radical grace, and this truth inspires us to live out the uncommon love and humility towards people that Christ displayed.

Romans 5:8

We’re not called to just go to church, we’re called to be the Church in life and on mission together every day of the week, not just a few hours on Sunday. We're learning what it means to really love our neighbors and and become a family of missionary servants.

1 Thessalonians 2:8

Nothing is impossible for God, and we should act like we believe it. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, and with a culture of prayer, we will do whatever it takes to help people meet Jesus and see our city renewed spiritually, culturally and socially.

Acts 1:8

We belong to a global movement called the Christian & Missionary Alliance.

The C&MA is a fellowship of evangelical believers dedicated to fulfilling Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations.  The C&MA has a thoroughly evangelical doctrinal statement and encourages believers from diverse backgrounds and theological traditions to unite in completing Christ’s Great Commission.
